Meet Skye

With over 20 years of experience and mostly training women over 30 years old. Skye’s Fitness has setup a studio to make a safe & clean environment were women can train in comfort and without judgement. Training at Skye’s Studio is about listening to the music you like while working out.

Skye’s studio is fully air- conditioned with a fan for those extra hot days and is warm and dry in the cold wet weather months. When training at Skye’s Fitness you are the only person in the studio. No interruption, not like the gym or the park. With a fully qualified gym instructor not only there to help you with form, but knowledge of how to use the equipment, and of course to give you the motivation to help you reach your goals.

If you don’t feel comfortable in a gym this is the place to start, I’m here to help you on your fitness journey.

Being a woman in her 40’s and having worked in the fitness industry for over 29 years, I understand the emotions that women go through.

So, give me a call, drop me an email, text or through massager, or DM me on Instagram. We can do a meet and greet and talk about your fitness needs.

If you have kids bring them along. They can watch a bit of TV or read a book, and you’re only across the hallway.

You can take timeout and leave the kids with the other half and have the time all to yourself.

Skye’s Fitness is a small business owner, who doesn’t work for any big company and have lived in Preston for over 20 years. So, you know that you’ll be helping a small business out and the local community at the same time.

Skye’s humble beginnings started as a gym and aerobics instructor before progressing into personal training. Along the way she has refined her knowledge and experience earning many qualifications including:

  • TRX Suspension Training Course
  • Dealing with Shoulder Injuries
  • Weights on the Swissball
  • Functional Training and Advanced Core Conditioning
  • Dealing with Back Pain

I also have a Full Police Check, and Working with Children Certification

Training Style & Influences

My style of training includes weight training, cardio boxing and cardio training. I love weight training because of how it makes myself and my clients feel at the end of the training session. It is wonderful to see people increase their personal strength and feel a sense of achievement.

My training at a boxing gym helped me realise the many benefits of boxing style training. Boxing helps with speed, power, self confidence and if you are having a bad day it is a great stress releaser. Cardio is also about building endurance. To run, skip, go up a flight of stairs, and each time to go a little farther is a great indicator of improved fitness.
